The Role of AI and Automation in HRM
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently making its way into every sector, including Human Resource Management. Transforming the way organizations handle recruitment, employee engagement, performance management and decision-making. These technologies streamline repetitive tasks, reduce human error, and provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making. I will present how this technology can be used to achieve the future goals of the business by improving the employee experience by integrating AI and automation in HRM, and I invite you to leave your valuable ideas as a comment.
AI and automation in acquisitions can help to streamline the
hiring process, identify high-performing individuals, and influence factors
such as initial engagement testing (Upadhyay & Khandelwal, 2018). This will
not only speed up the process but also make it fairer and more impartial.
Additionally, AI-based performance management systems, continuous employee
development, and more accurate assessments of individual and team performance
(Sierra-Cedar, 2020).
AI-powered chatbots can handle routine HR queries, freeing
up HR professionals to focus on more complex, value-added tasks. Furthermore,
AI tools are used to analyze employee data and predict workforce trends,
allowing HR managers to proactively address issues such as employee turnover
and productivity gaps (Kaplan & Haenlein, 2020).
Conclusion
AI and automation play a big role in HRM, improving
efficiency, reducing bias and enabling data-driven decision-making. These
technologies enable HR management to identify and implement the strategies
needed to move the organization forward, and as AI continues to evolve, its
role in HRM will expand, helping HR functions perform better and more
successfully.
Reflection
At Seylan Bank, I have seen how automation and AI have
streamlined HR processes, particularly recruitment and performance management.
Examining the application can often be seen using technology, and AI is used to
monitor the work of employees, attendance, etc. I have mentioned on several
occasions that good human resources are needed to achieve the goals of the
organization. , in the same way, in order to properly handle that human
resource, I believe that automation and AI management services will be provided
to the human resource management departments.
